No other name in Digital Audio Workstations is more closely linked to high-end audio, restoration and high-volume production than Sonic Solutions. Safe Sound Archive has made substantial investments in fully-equipping these workstations and fully-utilizing the network infrastructure. With such features as soundfile sharing and real-time networking, more than one transfer room can work on large projections concurrently. Background CD burning and file transfers allow efficiency in project flow which speed projects, require fewer hours and in turn, costs you less money.
Without retooling, a transfer room can move from a 16bit/44.1kHz CD project to a 24bit/88.2 or 96kHz (or 176.4 or 192kHz) high resolution restoration project!
For projects which require output to .wav or .bwf (Wave or Broadcast Wave) files, we also have Windows PCs and can deliver CD-ROMs in Mode 1, Mode 2 (XA), and ISO9660 formats. We can deliver on computer hard drive and DVD-R.
We have the software tools to edit the headers of .bwf, .wav, .mp3 and RealAudio
files, so identification, ownership and provenance information is embedded
in the actual files (and is not merely stored in a metadata record).
We can deliver 8mm Exabyte, Exabyte Mammoth and DLT.
For Internet or intranet use, we offer .mp3 and Real Audio files, complete with edited header information.
